Route from the airport to Fiumicino town

The route between the airport and the Municipality of Fiumicino (around 7 km) is subject to metered pricing.

Comune di Fiumicino taxis are available on the Arrivals level on the main road in front of Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, and on the ancillary road in front of the train station.

To ensure passengers and their companions safe and easy access to the airport, ENAC and the local authorities, with the support of ADR, have launched an important new initiative regarding traffic flow near the terminals of Leonardo da Vinci Airport: the Kiss&Go area.

The 15-minute Kiss&Go area is reserved for passengers and their companions heading for Terminals 1,2 and 3 of the airport, both Departures and Arrivals.
An electronic detection system that measures the time of transit of vehicles in the area helps to render the traffic flow more fluid and organized.

A quick, safe, and free stop for everyone.

From the moment of stopping in the area, motorists have 15 minutes to accompany and say goodbye or hello to someone leaving or arriving in an unhurried, stress-free way, without traffic jams. In fact, the Kiss&Go area was set up to render travel to and from the airport more fluid, and to encourage stopping only in permitted areas, both free and paid.

How to move about the Kiss&Go Area

DEPARTURES

One who accompanies a passenger in departure, from the moment of transit under the access portal, has 15 minutes to park in one of the Kiss&Go spaces, greet and leave the area, allowing those who follow to do the same.
Those who wish to stay longer can pay for the parking meters for up to an hour of additional time compared to the 15 minutes allowed or park in easy Parking payment car pars named P-Terminal A, B, C, D, at the arrivals.

ARRIVALS

One who awaits a passenger in arrival, from the moment of transit under the access portal, has 15 minutes to park in one of the Kiss&Go spaces and leave the area, allowing those who follow to do the same.
Those who wish to stay longer can either pay at the parking meters for up to an hour of additional time compared to the 15 minutes allowed, or park in the Short-Stay car parks named T1 and T3, free of charge for another 20 minutes, or in easy Parking payment car parks named P-Terminal A, B, C, D.

By accessing any of the car parks, motorists exit the Kiss&Go Area and time counting is automatically stopped. Users can stay for longer periods by paying the relative fees.
If the time limit of 15 minutes for the transit in the Kiss&Go Area is exceeded, the sanctions set out by Lgs. D. no. 33 of 22 March 2012 will be applied.
